My hats are made with natural feathers, therefore each hat designed with feathers will have unique differences and variances.

The Hat Shown is a SAMPLE of what I can design for you! You let me know what color and hat base you'd like to have.

YOU can choose your colors of silk, brocade fabric, feathers, veiling, etc and a beautiful brooch will always accent the hat and also will be unique to your hat.

This design is "Miss China Doll" and is completely hand made. I made the hat frame from buckram and the edge of the brim is wired so you can shape it the way you like; it's 22 inches in diameter.

The sample hat shown: Miss China Doll is covered with china aqua silk brocade that has gorgeous golden dragon print. The edge of the hat is accented with China aqua silk charmeuse and black velvet ribbon. The bow is also aqua silk Charmeuse and it's accented with a large vintage rhinestone brooch. Gorgeous aqua blue and black ostrich feathers sweep across the front. The vintage veil netting is from France, and is 100% silk with silk chenilles. You'll look absolutely stunning wearing this hat at your next event or tea party!

*How to measure your head:
Place the string or tape around your head about 1/8" above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. You need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size. I suggest measuring 3 times to make certain that you have the correct size.
