Downton Abbey Hat "Lady English" is perfect for your Titanic event too! It would also be great for any Edwardian Tea Party. It's designed over a red wool base. This another in my "ROYALE Edwardian Hats" collection. This hat is designed very true to the era. The brim of the hat is completely covered with tiny delicate dyed red feathers. Gorgeous red marabou and iridescent red/black coque feathers wrap around the crown of the hat and is then accented by a large velvet opened face black rose. I have added close-ups of the different feathers to give you an idea of true texture. Please notice that I've shown this hat with two different hairstyles: the Marcel finger-wave hairstyle and the turn of the century Gibson Girl hairstyle. VERY, VERY ELEGANT!

The hat size is 22 3/4 -23 inches and has a sewn in hat size reducer. The diameter of the hat brim is 15 inches.

*How to measure your head:
Place the string or tape around your head about 1/8" above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. You need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size. I suggest measuring 3 times to make certain that you have the correct size.
