The Titanic era
(1912) was not only a time for building huge ships, it was also
a time for extravagant hats! This page is the home of some of my
more extravagant designs; the ones worn by motion picture
starlets and Edwardian postcard models. It was believed that
bigger was better!

"Harlequin" is made of white designer horsehair and the brim
measures a full 18 inches in diameter. It would look beautiful
for that special tea party, church, cruise, wedding or Easter!
It's adorned with a gorgeous pink silk shot with blue silk bow
and hat band. There's delicate white velvet millinery blossoms
and dainty white feathers accenting the bow. Very fashionable
and elegant!

"Lady My Sweet Lady" is designed over a gorgeous taupe wool wide
brimmed hat base 16 inches wide. The ornamentation is taupe
satin and light golden organza accented with a beaded applique.
Two absolutely beautiful full ostrich feathers hand dyed and
imported from Spain swirl gracefully around the crown. Very
elegant and perfect for church, wedding or tea party. Would be
very special for a Somewhere in Time event!
