"Spirit of San Fransisco" is designed over a soft black wool hat. The edge of the brim is accented with French style beads and French gimp. The hat band and bow are black silk. The front of the hat is adorned with dainty white roses and a backdrop of white coque
feathers. Beautiful black and white ostrich feathers cascade
over the crown.
This type of lace is also known as tape lace. This beautiful fan
is available in 9 colors of lace. The fans are accented on the
bottom with a satin tassel. When opened the Black fan measures
approximately 19 1/2" wide and 11" tall. The ribs on the fan are

The hat band is a black shot burgundy silk and the bow the same
colored silk. The final touch is addition of the gorgeous
ostrich feathers in black and a deep wine color. You'll love

A Somewhat Obscure Film
Saratoga Trunk
Set in 1875 New Orleans: When her Mother dies Clio Dulaine
played by Ingrid Bergman returns from Paris and brings with her
an interesting entourage. She's a woman who knows what she wants
and Col. Clint Maroon played by Gary Cooper is on her list. This
movie will totally entertain you and Ingrid Bergman's portrayal
of Clio will amaze you; especially since this movie was made
shortly after her roll as a nun in Bells of St. Mary's. If
you're a fan of either Ingrid or Gary this is a must see film!
Although it's somewhat difficult to find and as far as I know
only available on VHS at this time, however, you can have
Amazon.com email you when it's available on DVD.
